“Did God Make The Streets?”
We were driving along a road that been under construction for the last 6 months and it’s finally complete. As we traveled down the freshly paved road, Brandon asked “Did God make the streets mommy?”
I think he caught me off guard because I didn’t know what to say. I was thinking well, not physically, but he did make the minerals that make up the concrete. So technically, I guess you could say God made the streets.
While I was trapped in my mental quandry - my 7-year-old said “The construction workers made the streets and God made the construction workers.”
All I could say was “Yeah - what he said.”
What’s that ole saying about out of the mouth of babes?
